"refuge" is a 46"x46" original acrylic abstract landscape on hand-built & hand-stretched canvas with a coat of gloss varnish to protect and enhance the colors.  I used golden yellows applied with a palette knife along with raw siennas to create depth in the leaves, and the background.  Then i like a small brush loaded with teals and blues to mimic the movement of water in the reflection.  These colors bring refreshment and interest to my eye and i enjoy them.  Thank you for looking at my work and please contact me with any questions esp about shipping!
